LOOKING TOWARDS SPRING:
Tips for spring: As the winter snow melts and begins to overfill your pool under the cover, you should maintain the water level in the pool. If you see that your cover is laying on pool water, you should lower the water slightly. Open the cover at the steps or at one corner and place a small submersible pump onto the top step or hang it about 8" into the pool and lower the water about 6 to 8 inches. Be sure not to take out too much water as it is important for your pool to be as full as possible. Just take out enough water to insure that the cover is taught accross the pool.
If the cover is suspended over the pool water, the leaves and dirt that has fallen in the past few months will dry up and blow off. The water will remain clean and clear until opening time. If there is heavy debris on the cover, you should sweep it off with your pole and brush.
If you would like this service performed for you, please contact us and we can arrange to do this for you.
Also, please remember to open your pool as early as possible so that the water can get cleaned and circulated before the sun gets stronger and the temps get higher. The pump and filter can be set so that the pool runs for 1 -2 hours per day to keep the water clean and fresh.
